BlushUp - Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the BlushUp app ("BlushUp", "we", "us") handles information. BlushUp is published by SnailPixel. By using BlushUp you agree to this policy.

1. Your camera, face, photos and videos

• BlushUp uses your device's front camera to show live makeup on your face and to capture photos and videos.
• Face tracking runs locally on your device using Google's ARCore (Google Play Services for AR). The face mesh it produces is used only to draw makeup on the live preview and is never stored, uploaded, or used to identify you.
• All image and video processing happens on your device. Captured photos/videos are saved to your device's gallery (Pictures/Movies). They are not sent to us or any third party.
• We do not access, collect, upload, or store your camera content or any biometric data.

2. Augmented reality (Google ARCore)

This application runs on ARCore, which is provided by Google LLC and governed by the Google Privacy Policy. ARCore processes camera images on the device to track your face; see Google's policy for how Google Play Services for AR handles data.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To provide and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and app-usage/interaction data, and may use it for personalized or non-personalized ads per Google's policies.

• In the European Economic Area and the UK we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads.
• You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings - Google - Ads).

4. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The optional one-time "Unlimited" upgrade is processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment; we never receive or store your payment details. To confirm a purchase is valid, our server may check the purchase token with Google's Play Developer API - no personal or payment information is involved.

5. App integrity verification

To protect against tampered or pirated copies, BlushUp may use the Google Play Integrity API. When enabled, the app requests an integrity token from Google and sends it (together with your purchase token, if any) to our verification service at camora.snailpixel.com, which forwards it to Google to confirm the app is a genuine Google Play install and that any "Unlimited" entitlement is a real purchase.

• These tokens contain no personal identity information and are used only for verification.
• Our verification service is stateless - it stores nothing and keeps no logs of personal data.

6. Permissions

• Camera - required for the live makeup preview and to capture photos/videos.
• Photos/Media/Storage - used only to save your captures to your gallery (older Android versions).
• Internet / Network state - used for ads, purchases, and the optional integrity check above.

7. Data we store

We do not operate user accounts and do not maintain a database of users. BlushUp stores a few settings locally on your device (for example your chosen makeup look, your capture count for the current window, and whether you have purchased Unlimited). Our servers store no personal data.

8. Children

BlushUp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Data security & sharing

Traffic to our verification service is encrypted with HTTPS. We do not sell your data. The only third parties involved are Google's services described above (ARCore, AdMob, Play Billing, Play Integrity), acting under their own privacy policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
